Meet Elliot Stevens

Elliot (EJ) Stevens is a technical theatre technician who loves getting to be a part of the magic of theatre.

They have worked with the local theatre companies in Cache Valley for over seven years helping to put on productions throughout the valley. Helping in various positions including Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Prop Master, Run Crew, Fly Crew, ZFX Crew, Set Crew, and Sound and Light Board Operator. They have also been an employee of Cache Valley Center for the Arts at the Ellen Eccles Theatre since 2021 as a General Technician. They love getting to help with touring shows and getting to be apart of the variety of productions the Ellen Eccles Theatre puts on.

One of their favorite positions is stage management, having been SM for over nine productions. As a stage manager, they have found their love for numerous productions and has loved getting to help put on productions from a management perspective. They love the multitasking stage management provides and has found it is a fitting role for their love of organization as well.

EJ is currently a student at Utah State University to get their Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Social Work & Psychology. They are also getting minors in ASL, Disability Studies, and Mental Health Advocacy and Awareness. Some of their favorite classes include those in the Psychology and Theatre departments.
